	KING'S CROSS STAION AND PLATFORM 9¾ +In northwestern London lies Kings Cross Station, a Muggle railway station that is one of the busiest in the city. It's a perfectly ordinary station, with big plastic numbers over each track and guards who have never heard of Hogwarts School . However, every September 1, as the clock overhead approaches eleven o'clock and the InterCity 125 pulls into platform nine, a strange crowd turns the occasional Muggle head. The crowd is wizarding children, bearing enormous trunks and caged owls, making their way toward - and then through - the solid metal barrier between platforms nine and ten	0	0	No posts have been made on this board.
	THE LEAKY CAULDRON + The Leaky Cauldron is described as "dark and shabby" inside, though it's also known for being a "welcoming" place. The main room on the ground floor has a bar and quite a few tables, and down the narrow hall from here is a private parlor, also with a fireplace. From the ground floor, a "handsome wooden staircase" leads up to the guest rooms, of which there are at least five and almost certainly more. The rooms have brass numbers on the doors and contain comfortable beds, and polished oak furniture. From the windows, both Charing Cross Road (on the Muggle side) and Diagon Alley (on the wizarding side) can be heard.	0	0	No posts have been made on this board.
	NUMBER 12 GRIMMAULD PLACE +Tucked away in northwestern London, a twenty minute walk from Kings Cross Station, lies number twelve, Grimmauld Place . Both Unplottable and hidden behind a Fidelius Charm, the house is invisible to all but a few. Though the neighboring Muggles don't even know the building exists, it was for many years home to the Black family - one of the wizarding world's oldest pureblood families, and extremely proud to be so	0	0	No posts have been made on this board.
